Hey everyone! I know i'm not very active on here but could really use some advice.
I'm hoping to buy a new tripod soon and have narrowed my choices down to the Manfrotto 190XPROB and the Manfrotto 055XPROB. But not sure which would be best for me.
I'm not tall and plan on using the tripod mainly for landscape and macro work (will likely be using a ball head such as the 496RC2 to start off with). I've check other sites and such but still not sure which would be best so would like the opinion's of people who actually own these tripods to help me out as i don't want to waste my money by getting the wrong one.
My main concern is how low can the tripods go (and how easy is this to do) and how stable is it, the weight could also be a probleum but i'm not too concered by that.
Any advice or pointers would be a great help Thanks
I agree with Juza (of course!). Both quite capable tripods, the 055 is heavy especially if you travel. Should you still haven't come to a conclusion just visit your local camera store and check if they have those in stock and ask them to show them to you. Hands on experience might lead pretty fast to a decision.
much much more better than all Manrfrotto of the world :)
