Pros: File, ISO 6, beauty of the object, the ability to eliminate any pre-choice of color in DNG for uncompromising quality.

Cons: The flaws are well known.

Opinion: If you don't make videos and don't want it to lose its charm, don't buy the external viewfinder or even the grip; Leave her naked. The car is beautiful and in a few years it will be a collector's item. The files are amazing and at ISO 6 it's unrivaled It's the smaller sister of the fpl, but the quality of the file is the same: only the quantity changes. Expect everything it can and expect nothing less: it's a valuable object.

Pros: Small, robust, file quality, iso, modularity.

Cons: Lack of viewfinder, ergonomics, stabilization.

Opinion: As an old foveon lover, in my first tests, I would say that Sigma tried (succeeding) to create a machine diametrically opposed to the SD4 (iso, size, sensor) but also very similar in color science and functionality. As for the SD4 the autofocus is not a lightning bolt of war, much higher, but clearly inferior to current machines of the same level / cost. All in all it is still a super upgrade in every detail. I really like the "film dough" that returns in the photo. As for the video sector, Cine DNG at maximum resolution, uncompressed, provides a workflow with equipment that can manage the amount of data that the machine churns out. Iso 6 (computational photography) very interesting, similar to Sony's "smooth reflection", also nice cinematograph to create animated gifs. With the Viewfinder VF-11 (director mode) it is an experience really to try, it seems to focus on the images on the screen of a cinema. Electronic stabilization, only in video (no dng) and only in full hd... not a lot 'as well as the continuous fire, practically unusable on video. The thing that most torments me is the impossibility of setting the white balance on a customizable key, you must always go through the menu (or quick menu). Cross and delight, but it is a completely new and different concept, at this price you will not find anything with similar characteristics and, I conclude, keeping in mind the quality of the final image, my vote is 9.

Pros: Small and robust; tropicalized; fast; sensor yield.

Cons: No viewfinder

Opinion: Given that every opinion cannot ignore the use made of the device and the photographic needs of each user; Also given that I use the camera mainly in the mountains as a "normal equipment" for, precisely, any activity in this field. My opinion, therefore, can only be limited to my use. I have no claim to completeness as certain functions do not even use them: I do not make videos, photographer rarely at high Iso (however it seems to me that it holds very well), I do not make portraits. On the other hand, I need a camera that weighs and clutters little, that can be unlined and ready to use in a short time - often in fairly uncomfortable positions - and that gives me the opportunity to take home some nice memories. The camera, combined with the 24 f 3.5, is very small and in my pouch it is comfortable for us. Even carried crossbody and "protected" by the windscreen or vest does not bother with its minimal footprint. It is truly well built, robust and solid. Easy and intuitive menu. In use, as far as I am concerned, it is proving to be fast and responsive: both in the operating speed on/off, and in the focus, up to the changes of the basic functions (Iso, focus mode, exposure compensation). Very good battery life even in very cold conditions. The sensor, in my opinion, has an excellent color rendering and a very rich black and white. Thanks to the sensor or the merit of the software I have no idea: it is clear that I prefer the fp yield compared to that of the SonyA7R2 that I had previously. The only flaw, found by many, is the absence of the viewfinder. As far as I'm concerned it's not a big deal but I understand that, for those who have the pleasure or habit of composing photos in the crosshairs, this can be a big miss. In short: I like the camera, it is carried around willingly, works quickly and efficiently and the result at home, on the pc screen and on paper, satisfies me.

Pros: Robust, very small, modular, dynamic range, file quality, b/n amazing

Cons: Modular. At the end of the day, a viewfinder is often necessary, especially for the low readability of the LCD display in high light conditions. At that point, mounting the LVF-11 becomes excessively cumbersome. Lack of Wi-Fi or Bluetooth, need a PC in tow to use images on the fly

Opinion: Used still little, with the 45/2.8 and the VM15. FF quality with compact footprints, excellent performance in little light. Excellent files, even the jpg in the room, dng development in the car. Very comfortable when with the little Voigt is in the pocket of the jacket, the modular is its greatest value, but at the same time its greatest flaw. The handle is necessary given the micro size, with the GH11 and the flash bracket the size already increases considerably. If you need the crosshairs, you reach MF footprints
