Pros: Lightness, Battery Life, Used Price, HIGH ISO Seal, Handy Files, Shadow Recovery

Cons: Unable to connect it with Intervallometer or Remote Control, small obviousness common to all entry levels

Opinion: Before and only machine owned for the moment, for 3 years that I bought it has never stopped giving emotions, Super handleable Nikon Raw File and formidable shadow recovery in Lr. The port everywhere and almost in all weather conditions (except heavy rain), is not tropicalized but seems much more robust than it seems a la carte. Very light, which is at the expense of the lack of an internal engine for AF. The high ISO seal gives satisfaction, noise present but not annoying up to 3200 ISO. Too bad for all the functions related to remote control, with these I could have greatly expanded the ways of use with a ridiculous investment in money. 24 Mpx are many, allow you to crop the photo enormously without falling into visible drop in quality. Almost infinite battery. To conclude, wonderful machine to get you started.

Pros: Light (about 400g), battery life, file quality, good dynamic range.

Cons: It is not possible to shoot controlled by intervalmeter.

Opinion: For the price at which it is currently used it is in my opinion still among the best EntryLevel reflexes even if it is out of production from 2018. Jpeg files are good and even with raws there is ample room for workability. Personally I feel good but I would have liked there was the way to be able to control it even with an intervalmeter or with a special app (accessories that I have not currently found). I partially solved this gap with the ML-L3 remote control by counting the seconds of the longest exposures in mind (but I forget the startrails). Due to the absence of wi-fi, SnapBridge does little except the bluetooth transfer of images on a mobile phone or tablet. If there is anyone who has solved the way to take interspersed photos I would be curious to know how he did it. It lacks the Bracketing functionality, but it resolves with the appropriate software and with a few more clicks on the shutter button. Among the qualities that I appreciate most about the Nikon D3400 are the rendering of the shots with little light and the battery life that is really great. Overall given the other qualities it is a camera not to be underestimated.

Pros: Lightweight, Dynamic Range, Photo Quality, Battery Life

Cons: Lacks Bracketing, not 100% view cover, slow live-view and exosious energy.

Opinion: It's my first DSLR, chosen after months and months to browse the internet reviews of Nikon (D5600), Pentax (k70), Fuji (xt20), Sony (a6000), I convinced myself to take it for its sensor, high dynamic range (the recovery of shadows and highlights in PP is amazing) I certainly can't make comparisons with ML or FF not owning them, but on the internet everyone talks about it very well, and given its really low initial price I took it. Well, what about, as an amateur amateur photographer I enjoy a mess, I'm very happy; at first my photos were flat, dull, without thickness, x nothing beautiful, but once I learned a bit of PP (now I shoot only in RAW) here she gives me delicious shots, beyond my most rosy expectations. It's very light (I go around with less than 1kg with its 18-55VR and 70-300VR), with a battery charge I do ca 600-700 photos, the controls I learned immediately, well arranged, the menu is quite intuitive, even the videos are excellent x my modest needs about it , which add... As defects, well, I would have preferred that there was Bracketing (I would try some HDR shots), and that the scope covered 100% of the frame (I "defaced" some good shots with elements present at the ends of the frame not visible in the crosshairs), the live-view is precise but slow and consumes a lot more battery (sin), in Manual mode the SETTING of ISOs is a bit cumbersome, and the Nikon Capture NX-D software is really basic, with more than one flaw. But the merits of the D3400 far outweigh the flaws! I couldn't be happier, just a happy purchase!

Pros: Very little, only the high iso.

Cons: Exaggerated price, invisible focus LEDs. Very amateur camera. Poor file quality.

Opinion: A camera that is worth much less than its price, you do not see the focus LEDs (serious defect), poor construction material , especially the standard lens (I broke 2 obviously not repairable) Extremely small (not a value), durability unsatisfactory battery. It would make some sense if it cost the third part of the sale price.

Pros: Price, battery life, menu simplicity

Cons: 24 megapixel

Opinion: I've had this car for over two years. He has never given me problems, but he has always behaved excellently. What about.. Obviously we are not talking about a top of the line, so everything that I write is still weighed compared to those that are the obvious limits of the camera. As for the cons, the only real constraint of this entry level that Nikon's mom could avoid are the 24 megapixels, seemingly sought after by most people who interface with photography. In fact, in this case, being a reduced sensor, do nothing but provide an excessive definition to the photos (which are sometimes too harsh) and make that above the 400 ISO noise is too obvious. Of minor is the pointer to 11 points autofocus, but, being an APS-C from €400 performs very well its work, even very quickly. As for the pros, always reminding us that we are talking about an entry level, the value for money I find it exceptional because, with now just over €300, you can buy a camera that accompanies the novice in the world of photography Providing all the basics it needs. The battery lasts a lot (with only one charge I made a 3-day trip with the machine always in hand) and the menu and the settings are simple and intuitive.
