Pros: full frame, good quality, well build , AF well build, IT IS A GOOD MACHINE!

Cons: to expensive !!!

Opinion: i've got this camera from 2 years now. It is a good camera over all!! very good. Good construction. good features on it. too heavy, but it's professional. the AF sister is so fast and doing good job. Provide a good quality of picture, OK, now depends all of the lenses you are used. But with my canon 24-70 f/2.8 and the 70-200 f/4 L is working so good.

Pros: Used price, iso sealing, viewfinder, ergonomics, light files and beautiful jpegs, remarkable AF, versatility

Cons: Dynamic range below the average PRO segment for the period

Opinion: After many vicissitudes and passing through an aps-c I decided to buy a full frame... Tested together with a Mark II in a shop, as soon as I put my eye in the viewfinder the indecision vanished... the extra 250 euros were worth them all, another world compared to the very honorable mk II. Starting from the double slot, the tropicalization, passing through a REAL AF, ending on a more than decent burst, not even remotely comparable the ISO seal (I had already used a friend's mk II and consequently I still have the files). All things that make it a definitive machine, albeit dated, for amateur use and beyond, capable in my opinion of satisfying weddings such as for sports or birdlife rather than simple portraits in the studio or with natural light. Slightly disappointed by the highlights that tend to burn with a certain ease but on the other hand it makes up for the colors, excellent without smudges even with cheap optics.

Pros: Considering that it was produced 12 years ago, I would say everything...

Cons: Considering that it was produced 12 years ago, I would say nothing...

Opinion: I state that I have been using the 5D Mk3 for about 10 years, mainly for sports photos, concerts or reportage and that I own other reflex cameras. Tested in the field, considering its age, it really has few rivals. It is a very modern camera, ergonomic in its handling and versatile, very solid as befits a professional body. With the right optics and expertise, you can tackle all photographic genres, without envying anything to new generation cameras. It has an outstanding sensor, which produces workable and light files, with nice creamy colors. It allows you to shoot even in critical light conditions, with ISO you can easily go to 3200 without particular deterioration. He takes home the result with dignity. Fast autofocus in locking on to the subject and fast enough in bursts. Like all PRO and FF cameras, the 5d Mk3 is at its best with professional, bright and quality optics. In short, a camera that may be "dated" for some, but which in my opinion still has its say in the photographic field. Whether professional or amateur photographer, it is made for those who love to shoot with the heart and are not prey to marketing.

Pros: File.. Colors.. ISO can be used up to 3000 without major regrets. Programmable keys... 3 types of raw.. Customizable menus and buttons. adequate screen... ergonomics.. Grip.. velocity.. Tropical.. Robust.. Shutter noises too good.. Accessories available at very low prices. handle type battery, wrap-around cases, batteries etc etc..

Cons: It doesn't have any! at least as far as I could see. Maybe if you really have to find something for him... I would have liked a third wheel opposed to the upper front one for the apertures, but there is the one of the rear set that compensates.. and maybe a customizable viewfinder.. and maybe the buffer which is definitely not the fastest in existence. Today's ones allow for multiple consecutive shots in RAW. The autofocus is not very suitable for birdlife, if there is no contrast it tends to lose the subject, of course it also depends on the lens used.

Opinion: Fantastic!!!!!!! Really fantastic camera, I got it used after a 400D and 40D, I also used them and it amazed me and made me want to look for fantastic shots. It consumes normally and in any case depends a lot on the lens used and the time the screen is turned on as well as its brightness. It produces files large enough to be able to crop big, the raw (full, medium and narrow) are really workable all of them well. It has all the important functions and the keys are programmable. With Magic Lantern installed, the functions are amplified with customizations that become enormous even for photography, the video sector does not interest me. Precise soft trigger keys, perfect weight, fantastic grip! in short, the ultimate camera for those who love photography..!

Pros: A full frame that makes you understand how professional cameras were, it's a tank, it's a great school for those who start working with photography

Cons: iso that if you get up a lot in the shadows you can see it and the live view, however, was still not used as often as now

Opinion: It was my first full frame four years ago when I started photographing for work and I still use it as a second body at the IV. It's a tank, I took another one that I take with me on family outings and when I'm not working. It fell from the roof of my car and it still works, it churns out some spectacular photos, just a little noise in the shadows that you can recover in post. The live view was not yet very performing, but it gets by, it finds the faces. The autofocus is a bomb, I used it at a rally and I didn't miss the fire of any car. So, in conclusion, I have two and I'm proud of them.
