sent on May 15, 2020 Pros: Price, size, orientable LCD screen, top display Cons: absence of tropicalization, it looks quite light as construction Opinion: Bought as a switch to a better-performing machine, it quickly turned out to be a fairy tale. Combined with the 18-135mm is usm produces really fantastic images. The orientable screen helps a lot for when you have to take photos in "original" positions, and the screen resolution was something that impressed me a lot (former owner of a 2000d, from the screen you could not see 'nappa). A small flaw is that the grip creaks when a heavy lens is mounted and the grip is pressed. Taken in place of the 80d, I don't regret it at all. Instead of 1/8000 shooting, it offers 1 fps extra 1 fps (6fps vs 7fps), a more advanced sensor, Bluetooth and digic 7 processor. |
sent on December 04, 2019 Pros: It all seems ok Cons: For now, no one Opinion: I hung bought the 77D. I did some testing and i am so so, some owner of this camera could politely advise me on its use and settings. I'm not finding much on the web in reference to this. I downloaded the manual from the official website but did not find it very comprehensive, I usually shoot with priority of diaphragms or times. Thank you |
sent on July 24, 2019 Pros: Beautiful to see, size, secondary screen Cons: High iso noise Opinion: I must say that it is the first (and for now unique) machine I have. Purchased about 2 years ago in kit with the 18-135 nano USM I think it was all the right choice to get me into the world of photography. I wanted to start with a body not too entry-level and not too professional but a middle ground. The 77D was the choice I never regretted. You appreciate the ergonomics, the quick controls with the secondary screen, the orientable touch display, the wheel that can be used as a second ring and finally the professional aesthetic aspect. The latter is also the negative aspect as I fear to give too much in the eye. The only flaw I recognize is high iso noise. Despite reaching 25600, expandable to 51200, the noise makes you hear from 3200 onwards. I don't think he has anything to envy his older sisters. For the rest I recommend |
sent on May 22, 2019 Pros: Adjustable touch screen, upper display, weight, double ring Cons: There are no real cons, maximum battery and construction. Lack of original battery grip Opinion: I have this SLR for about a year and a half, after practicing for almost a year with an old 1000D I chose the 77D as the first machine by matching it with a Sigma 17-70 Contemporary. Given the budget I had I preferred to the 80D (which I would have to buy with the 18-55) this model with the Sigma, so you immediately have a better lens. This 77D is the link between the Canon and semipro beginner SLR cameras, it presents the double ring and the double display typical of the higher level machines but with a light body (not tropicalized) and built with materials of less Quality compared to 80D for example, this however allows you to keep the lowest price. For this I do not consider the construction a real cons, if you need a better built body and tropicalized bets to 80D or wait for the new APS-C SLR that Canon should introduce shortly and that according to rumors should go to replace both the 80D that the 7D Mk. 2, although the price will inevitably be higher. Moreover, the fact that the body is so light is useful if you want to stay lighter, use the car normally on the road or otherwise in outputs and the 77D weighing less it brings more willingly on the shoulder. The rest of the car is great, simple and intuitive, the sensor is a DIGIC 7 (newer than the one on the 80D which is a DIGIC 6) and has a good autofocus, up to 1600 maximum ISO 3200 The files produced are usable, besides I would avoid shooting for excessive noise. The screen is great for both the touch and the ability to rotate it, although normally I prefer to shoot using the viewfinder. The minimum shutter time is 1/4000, lower than the 80D which allows you to shoot at 1/8000, but you hardly need a shutter speed so fast. As for the video side I can not express myself so much having done a few, however the machine records in 1080p and 60 fps, so no 4K (function that I personally do not feel the slightest need), there is stabilization (only for videos) and you They can do time-lapse by setting the number of shots and the interval between one and the other. Regarding the battery is an LP-E17, allows you to do 600 shots, I never needed a spare battery so for me it is more than enough, I put it as against just because the 80D allows you to get to 1000 shots, anyway if you need a M The autonomy you can buy spare batteries since you can not recharge via USB. The machine has Wi-fi, Bluetooth and NFC, useful to connect the smartphone to the machine and always access the shots, as well as to shoot remotely using the phone. Missing an original Canon battery grip for this machine, even if not needing it I don't feel a particular lack. In conclusion I consider the 77D a good machine for those who are a beginner and want something better than SLR for beginners and for those who need a second lighter body for those who have a heavier car in the kit (eg a full frame SLR) . |
sent on January 10, 2019 Pros: Adjustable touch display, dual display, double ring, weight Cons: Quality of materials Opinion: Canon 77d, after a couple of months of use I can confirm its high performance, the quality of the shots as well as an excellent autofocus. The presence of the double display gives the machine a further gear, the touch is very useful and the position of the keys and nuts allow an excellent use. The only drawback: the quality of the materials. After a long experience with a 600d I can make a comparison in terms of quality of materials, the 600d presented with more robust materials, just to give an example the battery compartment lid of the 77d is extremely thin and at the opening from the sensation of Precariousness in the duration. The 77d is a semi-pro of excellent value for money, despite the quality of the materials always remains an APSC highly recommended. |
sent on November 29, 2018 Pros: User agility, Adjustable touch display, optimum autofocus, general impression of reliability and professionalism, dual display, double ring Cons: Not detected Opinion: I bought the 77d to enter the world of SLR after years of photographic hobby spent with compact and bridge superzoom of various levels. I can not then make comparisons with other machines being my first reflex, but as a newcomer to this world I can say that the 77d is giving me the way to learn to photograph in a loose and gradual at the same time allowing me to practice the notions by way Most advanced learned during courses and/or self-taught experiences. I have never used automatic modes, I generally shoot in aperture priority or in manual and in RAW format, but the range of scenes and shutter options is very wide for those who want to use them. In General The camera gives me an impression of professionalism and reliability while not being among the top of the range. Some goodies are really useful, like the adjustable touch display and the small display on the top right that shows the most necessary information (ISO-diaphragm-time-shots remaining-etc.). Even the double ring is a trick that allows you to use manual mode and to perform many operations in a quicker and more intuitive than the classic four cursors high-low-left-right. In short, I think that the 77d is a model suitable for those who want to look at the APSC Reflex World in a semi-professional way and without having the remorse of having bought an insufficient equipment, in other words, I think that hardly anyone will take a Photo with this machine and then say "if I had another model would be better". |
sent on October 22, 2018 Pros: Manageability, weight, reliability, simplicity of use. Cons: Autofocus sometimes too "autonomous", but maybe it's my limit... from Nethite. Opinion: I bought this machine just before the summer, choice between semi-professional, also and especially for the 6 shots per second. In spite of what I read about other comments, I can say that the build quality does not give me the feeling of fragility at all. The most used keys are well reachable and the LCD display is touch and very sensitive. Comfortable the possibility of rotating it to take in positions otherwise unfeasible. It supports SD II (I respond to Zanini. M's review) and supports the batteries of other manufacturers, indicating the remaining charge (always for Zanini. M). |
sent on April 23, 2018 Pros: Excellent for those who like me enter the digital. Cons: I'm not able to make negative judgments. Opinion: For my enjoyment and entry into the digital photographic world, I think I can say that it is a good reflex complete and light, good companion with which to learn to (almost) all round the vast world of photography. I still own my old FTB-QL years 70 and the EOS 600 years 90 from which I have never had disappointment but after many years I was catapulted into this new era. The only disappointment that I turn is to have taken optics from kit... repented at 1000 x 1000... I am sure that you would have more satisfactions with more appropriate optics. Then I noticed that in the battery compartment there are only contacts for the same and not those for eventual BG. |
sent on October 23, 2017 Pros: Handy, high performance AF, great picture resolution, great LCD visibility Cons: For now I have not caught anyone Opinion: Bought a few days from a 400D elder I enjoyed the "sound" of the shot from the start. I took photos at Villa d'Este at Tivoli in full daylight and in optimal light conditions (clear sky) I enjoyed the excellent results of focusing and exposure measurement. sent on September 15, 2017 Pros: Swivel screen, touch screen, stabilized video sensor, pronounced and safe grip .... and other options not available in previous versions Cons: Much ..... starting with the bad construction quality Opinion: Socket to replace the 550d and not to have the weight of the 80d, remaining with a sensor and processor however great (and better than the 80d) ..... I'm a little disappointed with the really bad design construction .... definitely worse than 550d and earlier versions. Lightweight plastic everywhere except in the handle, one of the few positive sides of this new Canon reflex. Sincerely with this Canon product went to savings ..... compared to the one that compete, such as Fuji, which instead springs excellent products. |
sent on May 15, 2017 Pros: Sensor resolution, overall picture quality, manageability, features, touch screen with LV auto focus selection, pricing features Cons: Nothing serious, perhaps the size for those with big hands, lack of some finishes that are on the 80D. It is unclear whether it supports the SD Version II. Only the Canon batteries are seen by the system, and they are recharged from the original battery charger. For compatibles, you should buy their "charger". There is currently no Battery Grip, we hope Canon will produce it , Or at least some compatible (since even the 7xxD series has the BG) Opinion: The 7D had become somewhat unusual by the female part of the family (too much weight, size, and settings), I was looking for something manageable, but with several features of the 5D Mark III I used to be: Autofocus with so many points, good Iso sensitivity, a burst of at least 4-5 shots, commands in "canon" positions. RnrnAfter so much research I chose this 77D, which is basically a 80D in a slightly smaller body (just a sort of bridge between the 3 series 760D and 2D 70D and 80D series), great for both medium and small hands (less for me I feel good in hand from 80D to 5D): so many comfortable features of the new Canon series, photo output is good, But not excellent for those who are used to the FullFrame. It has the upper display to summarize some information, the Touch screen and twisted back, dual adjustment dial, integrated Wi-Fi and BT.rnMoving some cosines like the 80D, fine fire type setting, 1/8000 shutter, but Surely there are no features that you canThey are looking for you. It was used as a second body with 15-85 and flash EXX II for photographing communions and behaved in an excellent way, good quality (yes, there is a lack of detail, but the sensor and the " Optics are not really Professional) has brought home good shots and great shots.rnComodo the new autofocus with 45 points and the selection for Zone like the new Canon Reflex (remotely remember the poor 9-11 points or even the 19 Series Points earlier). Personally, I would have liked only 18MP, but an extra quality thread. The battery life looks good, tested on about 200-300 Photos with no obvious signs of downloading, also good buffering on a SD-HC 32GB Lexar 1000X, It has never saturated (ok, we are not talking about Avifauna, but ceremony). With the EF-S 15-85 objective slightly unbalanced towards the goal, the 18-135 is better from this point of view (it seems little , But also 100-120 Grams feel) but (apart from 18-55 F2.8) on APS-C on 15-85 isOne of the best in circulation: with the external flash weighs the weight, maybe it's perfect with a BG.rnrnTraining the conclusions as a second body, handy and portable, with good general features, I would say I found what I was looking for. A good Offer, at 850 €, I would say that it will be the "transport" Reflex for so many occasional photos |
