Canon EF 400mm f/4 DO IS II Pros: Yield, speed and accuracy of AF, lightness, dimensions, multiplication Cons: Cost Opinion: After having long wished I have this lens for over a year and I can safely summarize my review in one word: excelled. Staying around the two kilograms of weight is easily transportable, even for hours during long hikes, and quietly usable even freehand. Excellent already at TA behaves very well even with the Canon 1.4 x III and contrary to what I expected does not show any decrease in yield as well as autofocus speed. The AF is always accurate and fast, to the point that very few times I have used the limiter. The stabilizer allows to shoot at very unthinkable times, I would say without a doubt that the four stops promised are real. Compared with the Canon 500/4 IS II of an output mate has proved quietly at par, much like quality that as AF speed. sent on September 21, 2017 |
Pentax HD DA AF 1.4x AW Rear Converter Pros: aesthetically pleasing, robust construction and WR Cons: yield, chromatic aberrations and cost Opinion: I bought it to match the excellent DA * 300 f / 4 but I was very disappointed, to the point of reselling it immediately. The AF slows down a lot more than I imagined also becomes very inaccurate and sometimes hard to keep up even in light conditions eccellenti.rnLa made of good, the only one I tested because the only one interested, is decidedly poor, to the point that I prefer a crop of the lens 'smooth'. They are also introduced several aberrations cromatiche.rnrnNemmeno I agree on the valuation attributed to this TC, in fact my vote is a nice 4.rnrn EDIT: A DISTANCE OF A COUPLE OF MONTHS MI IS 'MADE THE OPPORTUNITY' TO TEST A SECOND COPY (PLEASE borrowed from a friendly SELLER), UNFORTUNATELY THE OPINION REMAINS UNCHANGED, ONLY THE DISAPPOINTMENT AND 'INCREASED! sent on August 26, 2014 |
