They say in Architecture you have to blend the structure with the surrounding. This is a great example and a wonderful shot. Great composition and wonderful landscape. Well done Francis. Hello

You're right Zman, this is a perfect example of integration, of course this old village has been built only with the local material, no plastic, metal, glass or concrete. Unfortunately it's now abandoned.

This is a very intriguing photograph. The architecture and house organization is truly fascinating. From photographic perspective I really liked the thick rows of palms at the bottom of the photo contrasting the 'dryness' feel from the upper part of the photo. A terrific photo!

Very nice comment and good interpretation Tristan, you really understood what retained my attention and emotion of this place, for this reason I've preferred the zoom over larger angle to better spot and narrow the frame. I also excluded all distracting things around. As you can imagine this old village is surrounded by modern architecture, electric cables and all rubbish we don't want on our photography. Many thanks for your appreciation. Sorriso
Greetings, Francis
