Abbandono

#abbandono

What a beautiful view in an interesting bw version that looks like as the photo is many years old.

The picture I think is nice as an idea, in my opinion materialized bad though, the cottage is in my opinion too central a more decentralized composition would lead the eye to "Search" house in the woods.
Also in post production I increased the contrast to emphasize the shadows and emphasize the B & W ;-)

Greetings
Sandro

Andrynoce Hello, I've thought a bit '...
I did not fully convince the house so central. A little 'difficult to read too much space on the left.
I believe that decentralizing a bit 'should not be lost the sense of "Infrattamento" of the house, but the image would gain a little something in the composition ...
The atmosphere with the mist that happened? That is, you say you were there and I believe you, but perhaps with the
conversion to b / w and maybe with a little 'of contrast in post-production, probably thinned ... :-D

I'd like to see the original image ...
Hello.
Andrea. ;-)

I agree with Sandro and Andrea, a less central composition would have helped.
If you want to try a new composition and revision with greater emphasis on the mist, also tries to give a raddrizzatina the falling lines of the building, as it seems to want to lay on the back.

Since definitely like straighten said Barbara and tighten the frame by removing much of the shaded part on the left, creating a guideline towards the house that starts from the lower right

a greeting, simone

Nothing to add to what was said by those who preceded me.
When I see these pictures I think it would have been difficult to print on paper.
Once they used to. As it would be lost in a sea of ??gray.
So off of disguises and swearing, but honestly I do not think this would be worth it.

Thanks for the replies, I had left the house to get more central forest, but did not convince me, either, so I 've posted here. ;-)

home straight and decentralized, so it goes straight shot along the path in the woods.
I like the bw when there are these abandoned houses.

The idea I like very much, I agree with those who preceded me on whether to straighten and decentarare in fact a reworking of the Commissioner, with the third house on the top, I find it more effective.

Do one thing, republish this same photo after you've made the changes that you have suggested, I think that deserves some attention. ;-)
