Lungo la splendida Riviera del Brenta, la strada che collega Padova a Venezia lungo il naviglio del fiume, si possono ammirare meravigliose ville venete (la più celebre è Villa Pisani, monumento nazionale), la maggior parte delle quali in ottimo stato di conservazione, alcune recentemente restaurate e riportate all'antico splendore. Vi sono però anche molti esempi di antiche ville non più abitate ed in stato di completo abbandono. E' una bellezza struggente, triste e malinconica. Ma è comunque bellezza. Questa una vista di Villa Tito, risalente al sec. XVIII, Anch'essa ubicata nel comune di Dolo (Ve), a due passi da Villa Avogadro-Velluti.
