Sabato 28 settembre 2024, 15:29. Versione monocromatica della foto precedente. Il problema di Venezia è che si tratta di un luogo eccessivamente “consumato” dai fotografi e l'effetto cartolina è sempre dietro l'angolo. Con il bianco e nero, per lo meno, più che ricordare le cartoline contemporanee le foto evocano quelle di fine '800, inizio '900. In quel periodo operavano a Venezia diversi bravi artigiani che realizzavano cartoline destinate ai viaggiatori dell'epoca, il cui gusto era mediamente più raffinato di quello della gran parte dei “turisti di massa” contemporanei, e la qualità ne risentiva favorevolmente. Il più famoso di loro, Tomaso Filippi, può a pieno titolo essere considerato un grande fotografo. Penso sia superfluo specificare che la cupolona sullo sfondo appartiene alla Basilica di Santa Maria della Salute.
