con Canon EF 1.4x III at 140mm, 1/1250 f/8.0, ISO 250, hand held.

E' meta Maggio , io e l'amico Marco siamo di ritorno da una nottata in Arena di canto del Forcello sulle Alpi Svizzere . Mentre scendiamo verso fondo valle sentiamo il canto della Coturnice , ci fermiamo ad ascoltare e osservare , in teoria il loro momento e' gia finito , ma con una stagione cosi' anomala puo' succedere di tutto . Ne sentiamo una sopra di noi e una piu' a valle . Ci piazziamo e aspettiamo ! Ad un tratto esce una coppia allo scoperto a fondo valle , inizia a salire verso l'altra Cotorna in canto , io e Marco siamo nel mezzo , ci guardiamo e con lo sguardo ci intendiamo sul da farsi !! La coppia percorre la ripida salita fra la neve e la paglia secca primaverile , il canto diventa fortissimo , prima una , poi l'altra . Ad un tratto la coppia si ferma a tre metri da noi sotto una roccia, l'adrenalina sale , i rododendri non ci danno visuale , non ci possiamo muovere , decidiamo di aspettare che escano allo scoperto . Passano pochi secondi e la testolina del maschio spunta dalla vegetazione , cerco di mettere a fuoco ma il moltiplicatore , la vegetazione e la vicinanza non aiutano . Lui mi guarda , resto immobile senza fiatare , sembra incuriosito , dentro di me spero che esca allo scoperto ma dopo una decina di secondi il sogno svanisce in un attimo , stacco e involo con la femmina a ruota !!! Guardo Marco e spero che anche lui lo abbia visto , ma purtroppo aveva un'angolazione diversa e lo intravedeva !!! Conclusione , avere questo bellissimo uccello a pochi metri e' stata un'emozione unica e penso irripetibile conoscendo il soggetto , rimarra' sempre dentro di me quello sguardo rilassato e incuriosito , l'unico dispiacere e' averlo involato , sarebbe stato meglio si fosse allontanato senza disturbarlo !!
