A wild self-timer.
The story of the adventure "bristling" with difficulties is engaging. In the end, the zero-rise recovery came out.
The doubt that yours was a Garden of Eden had already pervaded me. The presence of the snake is now irrefutable proof of this. I guess you also have an apple tree in your nature oasis... In the eventuality, he declines the offer of the fruit.
On to the next daredevil venture (and check that you have the tetanus shot that has not expired).
Greetings
GG

I don't really like snakes and even if this subject is harmless it makes me a little afraid. On my part, triple compliments, both for the situation in which you set yourself to take the photo without fear of the snake, and for having stung and suffered in silence and last but not least the success of the shot.

And well done Juliet!
A beautiful photo in which, indeed, you can be seen reflected in the eye of the snake. Then, life teaches us that to achieve a result you need tenacity and a little suffering.
Greetings.
Paul

The home safari, despite the unforeseen events and injuries you have described, produced an excellent result, including the miniature self-portrait. Congratulations!
