An evocative and well-thought-out shot of a sculpture I would say prophetic.
Congratulations

Excellent photo! Pietà, reproduced with "sculptural" light, with three-dimensional volumes. Congratulations. Jago is a genius and an artist with a refined technique. The cultural reference is obvious, but here it is a father mourning his dead son. I think of the fathers and mothers who lose their children because of war.
Regards, John.

Poignant. Great ability on the part of the artist to sculpt emotions and great proposal on your part. Perfect light and pdr. Original and great shot, congratulations.

Thank you all for the comments!
In the next few days I will also add more photos I took to the exhibition. For those who are passing through Naples, I highly recommend a visit to the exhibition. The church is located a few meters from the exit of the Cavour metro station at the beginning of the Sanità district.

Congratulations to the two authors. To the photographer for the pleasant realization of this b/w and to the sculptor because they seem almost human subjects.

A reference to an absolute masterpiece that manages to be worthy of it.
Lights and shadows dosed to perfection to give three-dimensionality and pathos to the image.

I like to photograph statues. I stop, I study the light and, above all, they don't move.
As Giovanni Magli said, sculptural light gives the volumetric impression of the shapes and, here, Baribal has done an excellent job playing on the PDC.
Congratulations to the sculptor and to Baribal....!!
Greetings

Impressive how detailed we are the sculpted bodies, really beautiful, this work that I didn't know. Your shot in beautiful black and white is also excellent.
