It was once a consecrated church, and had to be a place of worship and felt very object of processions for the blessing of the harvest. I do not know the reason of the dedication to the vineyards, being a place of paddy, perhaps in the nearby hills of Monferrato. Today, unfortunately, the church is deconsecrated and is evident decadence, I do not know whether there are plans to re-evaluation of the political territory. Nico Ciaooo Ciao Splibo! ti ringrazio dei complimenti e si, hai colto esattamente quello che intendevo. Il posto si trova nelle campagne del vercellese, vicino a dove abito. Un tempo era una chiesa consacrata, e doveva essere un luogo di culto molto sentito e oggetto di processioni per la benedizione dei raccolti. Non conosco il motivo della dedica alle vigne, essendo un luogo di risaia, forse per le vicine colline del Monferrato. Oggi purtroppo la chiesa è sconsacrata ed è in evidente decandenza, non so se vi siano dei piani politici di rivalutazione del territorio. Purtroppo in tempi come questi le priorità sono altre, ma è davvero un peccato perchè come dici tu il posto è molto bello, con un fascino..iquietante!
