Proseguo in costa su sentiero quasi ormai completamente allo scoperto, quando, ad un certo punto, ormai scoraggiato, sentii alcuni rumori di fronte a me, dal sentiero, a circa 80m., da dietro un larice. Mi fermo, e completamente paralizzato, sorpreso e stupito vedo un bel cervo maschio con la propria compagna che scendono, attraversando il sentiero. Ma quale e quanta meraviglia. Dopo tanti anni di montagna (ne ho soltanto avvistati alcuni ma e' sempre stata questione di un attimo) finalmente, solo e immerso nel silenzio, tra i pochi larici e le praterie di mirtillo rosso, ho potuto fotografarli con calma, grande emozione ed ammirazione. La femmina, da subito, e' scesa di alcuni metri e si e' fermata all'ombra di un larice, mentre il maschio dopo pochi metri si e' fermato ad osservarmi. Poi e' sceso lentamente, penso perche' abbia compreso che non gli avrei fatto nulla di male, raggiungendo la femmina, la quale, poi e' risalita di qualche metro per osservarmi anch'essa. Nel mio animo si sono accumulate tante belle sensazioni ed emozioni ma anche rabbia; rabbia dovuta al fatto che la zona e' aperta alla caccia (gli animali non sono per nulla "protetti", anche se nel nostro paese nemmeno nei parchi) e quindi magari tra qualche tempo li avrebbero ammazzati, anche se ho sentito pareri autorevoli affermare che quando sono troppo numerosi rappresenterebbero un problema (e certo, invece, l'aumento considerevole di pascoli, anche a quote impensabili, di vacche, pecore e capre no). Poi la consapevolezza che gli animali non conoscono la cattiveria e se uccidono lo fanno soltanto per la loro sopravvivenza, invece l'uomo no, possiede il libero arbitrio= guerre, violenze, terrore ecc.ecc.
