Questo Murales, opera della street artist italo-spagnola Leticia Mandragora, è parte di una iniziativa finalizzata alla riqualificazione e alla valorizzazione di San Gavino Monreale. L'iniziativa è stata inserita all'interno di un progetto più ampio. Il progetto in questione si chiama Mulieres Grazia e Coraggio ed è stato promosso dal Comune di San Gavino e organizzato dall'associazione Skizzo per sensibilizzare le persone al tema dell'emancipazione femminile e al problema della violenza contro le donne. Leticia Mandragora ha pensato di rendere omaggio a Grazia Deledda e, pensando a Canne al Vento, ha ritratto una donna che indossa un costume tradizionale sardo, basandosi su un bellissimo scatto del fotografo Carlo Marras, dal quale ha avuto espressa autorizzazione, dal titolo "Diletta" (https://carlomarrasphotography.com/homepage).
