Non sarà di certo uno dei migliori scatti in notturna che vedrete ma per me questa foto ha un significato enorme. Io e un mio amico abbiamo passato giorni a studiare questo scatto, dalla location all'orario, fino al l'attrezzatura da utilizzare. Abbiamo fatto circa un km a piedi a notte fonda (erano circa le 4 del mattino, l'unico momento in cui la cometa cascava a pennello nel punto in cui doveva cascare, cioè vicino al pino solitario che si trovava su una piccola collinetta sperduta tra le campagne maremmane) e una volta raggiunto il punto prestabilito abbiamo iniziato a scattare. Purtroppo dopo aver scattato per una mezz'oretta uno spiacevole incontro con un'animale selvatico (tutt'ora non sappiamo cosa potesse essere) ci ha spinti a scappare a gambe levate. Che dire, i sacrifici sono stati tanti, e per un momento abbiamo pensato anche al peggio, ma siamo stati pienamente ricompensati da questa meraviglia. #cometa #comete #nightphoto #notturno #neowise #astrofotografia #stelle #paesaggio #cielo

As far as your questions are concerned of course yes, I combined two shots, one with the stars in focus and one with the tree after which I joined them with Ps through the level masks
For the passages in the post I gave sharpness, clarity and saturation also slightly changing the balance of white in the lights (it was not really orange the sky, it was much more faded) still trying to maintain a "natural" coloring and finally I increased the whites in the sky to emphasize the stars.
