Deserted and silent Milan sent on March 30, 2020 (21:39) by Annamaria Pertosa. 76 comments, 1720 views. [retina]

, 1/320 f/5.6, ISO 200, hand held. Milano, Italy.

It would be nice to enjoy the empty cities...
... but even more so to come back to see them live.
Hello Annamaria, nice picture.

The shot and the choice of b/n are great, it gives me a bit of desolation. Let's hope it ends soon.
Hello Good Evening ;-)

All the photos "ripped" to the reality of the first months of 2020 will go down in history.
We live there today and I hope tomorrow is history soon.
The sadness sometimes envelops you, echoing a surreal silence.
Tomorrow, it's another day.
Compliments dear Annamaria. It doesn't matter the framing or the colors, it's the content.
A greeting
France ;-)

Great recovery with beautiful perspective and almost devoid of human presence, that is, it seems that there is no one,
tho a person is there and this gives us hope as the light at the end of the tunnel, congratulations on the beautiful B/N!
hello Claudio

Beautiful recovery and excellent perspective, the unusually deserted street denoted the surreal situation that we are experiencing and that you define well: a real nightmare. You described, well, what we all live every day at 6 p.m....
A lovely greeting, Annamaria.
Jo.

A nineteenth-century fascination if it weren't tragic :-o as it rightly performs the reportage function but, trust me, it's a great photo.

A beautiful reportage made in black and white that highlights how this street of unbridled and crowded luxury of people presents itself in the current condition and makes you reflect a different future.

The most "dear" street in Milan, always crowded, now deserted.
Bellissimo shot that makes you think.
MariaCompliments, bye.

A desert unimaginable until recently. A photo that has become a document.
Brava Annamaria and a dear greeting :-)

Amazing to see Milan like this... it is an exceptional document, rightly in black and white... to forget? Maybe. But also to remind us how fragile we are. Congratulations on the document and good health!

Surely strange to see Milan deserted, maybe not even in August, Ragusa is no different, there is a ghostly silence, but we know that all this will help us to get out of this nightmare!
A greeting dear Annamaria and we resist
Agata ;-)
