Beautiful and particular representation with the Fisheye. Excellent the management of lights that contrast beautifully between those moving cars that represent the hectic life and the real, statuary of the shrine. Two different worlds that live together. also excellent colors.

Bella this prospect at dusk. The lights of the cars give a note of color in addition.

Beautiful Sergio, you stole the idea :-D, of course I joke. Congratulations a nice idea to use the fisheye. Just yesterday I thought that I have to post some photos of our city among which we can not miss Christ the King.

Hello Kitty, a dear greeting to you and thanks for the rapidity in commenting on this photo.
a shot that long ago I had run in the rain, but the wet road and rain, instead of making the shot more suggestive, created too much confusion, so I tried again, with the dry and seems to be better.
Thanks 1000 for your comment, glad you enjoyed and glad that this shot brings you pleasant memories

Thanks Stefano, I really like your reading of this image which by the way mirrors the reality. As written in the caption, the shrine rises higher than the Belvedere, from where I took it.
is a crowded place even in the evenings, especially for the superb view. In such frenzy, the shrine, solemn, hangs over silent, in fact it is open to the public only in the morning.
Thank you for your fine words.

Thanks Claudio, the fisheye is a lens that can give suggestive images.
In This case I decided to interpret this monument with this goal, not for a need for space, I could very well take it again with a "normal" focal, but I liked to contextualize it. The cornering road has been the deformation of this objective. Of course, the monument resulted in a not too didactic perspective and the deformation would not be good for an architecture guide, but I did not want a picture too obvious.
pleased with your appreciation.
Hello, thanks 1000

Thank you Apresti.
Glad you liked this shot, as already written in a previous comment, I had attempted this shot on a rainy day and at night, but then I preferred to try at dusk, with a sky that was not too dark.
In fact, as you noticed, the colors obtained, are more interesting and the cars more frequent than In the middle of the night, helped me to compose more representative trails.
Hello, thanks 1000

Thank you, Guglielmo. I actually stole the idea from you. You have already published a very nice photo of this monument and I have similar, from where I live, I own the point of view similar to the one you proposed.
As already written, I tried to improve a composition that I had already tried long ago, with the result in vision that I like and I'm glad you liked it too.
I continue to enrich this gallery of images dedicated to our city, not too well-known and still has reasons of interest.
Hello
Thanks 1000

Very, very nice for proper use of fisheye, colors, composition and lighting management.
The PDR then, confers that right grandeur to the shrine.
Icing on the cake: the excellent caption.
Congratulations.

Thanks Eus, very rewarding your nice comment to this shot, I'm really glad you liked it.
Thanks also for the always welcome congratulations. The caption is a fair tribute to this monument that has its own grandeur, not so much because of its greatness as a building, but for its position, dominant and visible from almost the entire city.
Thanks 1000

Thanks Nino 58, I am very pleased with your appreciation.
You're right: the 8-15 is a very special goal, but surprising for the creativity it offers.
Thanks 1000 for your step.
