Walking in the colors sent on September 06, 2012 (9:56) by Memy. 44 comments, 3719 views.

,

Memy I have to say that lately I am very attracted by the images of fauna set, and that I love it.
A beautiful landscape, a beautiful light and finally the icing on the cake (the bear)!
Only two notes: one is that it seems a little soft, the other on the cut, the part of the bank to the left with grass and stones is not the best, but on this I do not think you could do anything if you wanted to include the bear.
All the best,
Simone

Hello Simon,
honestly this is one of the photos that gives me the most satisfaction of 'whole journey because I think it's a really special and unique.

Probably reflects some 'reduction and maybe I could use a little' sharpen but I felt it was important detail and 'I preferred it, naturally soft ...... because in my opinion more faithfully represents the magical atmosphere of hushed 'BEGINNING of that special day .....

The 17/40 is certainly not a sample of sharpness but I'm not for 'incision at all costs, not always .... and ultimately begins to spread a school of thought that begins to reconsider the 'use of sharpen that ends to get used to images iperdefinite but a bit' contrived...........

The fire I think it should be on 'bear so even with a good depth of field I would say that that is nornale such as the volcano is not quite in focus

It would be hard to elect the best photo of your journey between those who propose here on the forum, but for now this is worth gold, at least in my opinion. Pure poetry

Molto bella Memy! E' piena di piccole imperfezioni, ma a volte, "chissenefrega!" La poesia vince su tutto! Un saluto

Thanks Shiko! :-P
Personally I think the technique is not always everything from Kamchatka I brought home thousands of shots best technically but the magic of that moment is unique and I think the photos came out, just as it is, is capable of transmitting .
Obviously I'm too influenced by emotions and only objective evidence of the beholder can tell me if it is really so ......

How wonderful .. you were right to not post it in landscapes because this is more of a landscape, you do not need to have clarity at all costs in this kind of pictures and then blurring places more attention on the main subject. The light, beautiful, makes magical moment caught. Compliments.

Nice composition, special colors, the specular reflections and three-dimensionality. Cilegina on the cake bear silhouette and circles of water.
The image does not belong to the category "Fauna", the move to "Landscape."
Motivation:
If the landscape the animal or animals are the main characters, the image should be placed, depending on the subject, in the Birds and Wildlife.
Example: Imagine that the composition with you resume the bear to its height by placing it on the left with the silhouette in the foreground emphasizes his greatness and majesty-the background landscape with its colors.
If, as in this case, the subject is instead a boundary element which enriches the scene, the image should be placed in Landscapes ;-).

hello and good light, laurel
