La tua osservazione è più che lecita, ma penso di poter dire che in realtà l'orizzonte è dritto.
Dà questa impressione, lo ammetto e inizialmente c'ero cascato anche io.
E' dovuto prevalentemente ad un effetto ottico, non scherzo ;-p
Il muretto a destra che va verso su e la forma del golfo...insieme ingannano l'occhio.
Inoltre la linea di costa sulla destra tende a rientrare (leggermente, verso il centro della foto) e questo contribuisce ulteriormente a creare l'effetto.
Infine, un buon riferimento per capire se l'orizzonte è dritto è di guardare la fascia di nubi al centro in alto.
Dico tutto questo non per 'discolparmi', ma perché ci sono stato attento :-)

Non sono sicuro che la scelta (magari obbligata) di tagliare la scalinata sulla sinistra dia il risultato più piacevole, però magari inquadrandola tutta avrebbe avuto un ruolo troppo di rilievo nella foto, cosa che sarebbe stata indesiderata, immagino. Ho la sensazione che la linea dell'orizzonte sia leggermente pendente, oppure è solo un effetto della distorsione ottica. I colori sono molto piacevoli.

Qui va a gusti Giovanni. L'ho concepita così perché volevo che la chiesetta fosse esattamente in quella posizione. Ciò non toglie che un altro scatto si potrebbe aggiungere volendo, col rischio però di distorcere eccessivamente a causa degli spazi via via più ristretti sulla sinistra.
