Risalente alla prima fase costruttiva del Palazzo, la sala fu camera da letto di Carlo Emanuele II. Decorata in occasione delle sue nozze con Francesca d'Orléans, presenta temi e allegorie che celebrano la provenienza francese della sposa. Seicentesche sono la tela centrale del soffitto (Il re di Francia Clodoveo che riceve da un angelo lo scudo con l'insegna del giglio) e la cortina, con le cariatidi gravide, realizzata in legno intagliato e dorato a separare il talamo nuziale dalla zona di ricevimento. Il drappo con corona sopra la trabeazione è del '700, così come le sovrapporte, di soggetto biblico, opera di Sebastiano Ricci. Vittorio Amedeo II la mantenne come stanza da dormire da parata, mentre sotto Carlo Emanuele III, smantellato il letto, fu adibita a piccola sala da ballo. Con Maria Teresa d'Asburgo-Este, moglie di Vittorio Emanuele I, fu sala di ricevimento. In età carloalbertina su étagères laccate erano esibiti numerosi vasi orientali. alcuni dei quali sono qui esposti. In direzione della sala successiva, sulla sinistra, si ha il ritratto di Maria Teresa d'Asburgo-Lorena, consorte di Carlo Alberto, mentre sulla destra si colloca un dipinto dei Figli di Carlo I Stuart, copia della celebre tela di Anton van Dyck conservata presso la Galleria Sabauda.
