Lupo in libertà. Durante un'escursione sul monte Canfaito punto il mio 70-200 verso i giovani tronchi della faggeta quando, un attimo prima di scattare, si materializza nel mirino ... un lupo(?). Per l'emozione lascio la messa a fuoco sui tronchi e scatto subito; nel secondo scatto lo ritraggo solo da dietro mentre avanza nel letto di foglie secche senza il minimo fruscìo, scomparendo come un folletto tra gli arbusti. Di quei pochi attimi mi è rimasto impresso il suo portamento e quella sua andatura lieve ma sicura. La faggeta è zona protetta, ma il 14 gennaio 2012 era in corso una battuta di caccia al cinghiale (con tanto di segnalazione appesa ad un'albero, dunque forse legale?) con una decina di cacciatori e 30 cani che stavano battendo uno stretto vallone boscoso. Probabilmente il lupo stava dunque fuggendo dal suo rifugio per il trambusto della battuta di caccia. * L'esemplare potrebbe essere un giovane isolato arrivato nel nuovo territorio e che ha usufruito, nello spostamento, di uno di quei corridoi naturali che da sud attraversa l'appennino partendo dai monti d'Abruzzo fino alle golle della Rossa e di Frasassi e forse anche più a nord. Sul Monte San Vicino tracce di lupo sulla neve sono già state fotografate da Maurizio Caprari, un geologo dell'anconitano. . #Wild #Bosco #Faggi
