Il Castello Ducale di Bovino (prov. FG), in uno scatto notturno.

Hello Franco and excuse the delay in replying. Yes, the castle is open, at least partially. In its rooms (at least in those restored), today there is the Diocesan Museum which displays precious reliquaries and several paintings of the Caravaggio school. There is a cross bearing a precious thorns from Christ's crown. Other smaller rooms are used as bed and breakfast (choice perhaps questionable, but at least it brings a minimum income to young people in a rather stagnant economy). In any case you can contact Pro Loco Cattle numbers Phone (39) 0881 966 475 or
Phones: 333 8391890? 349 3277503
I hope to be as helpful

I'm glad you liked ...... I did not think to suggest a visit to the top of the village, with all the narrow streets paved with large stones and polished by time and the low white houses ..... if there it was, maybe in some future occasion may be the right one.
Fernando
