A good tale, contemptuous of danger! This makes your shot even more absurd! Very beautiful

Adventure ended well, fortunately, we NEVER wanted to lose you in the ocean, dearest Giuseppe!
However, the shot deserved this "escapade" of yours :-D

Never take the unpredictability of Nature lightly if you do not fully know the limits to face a calculated risk. It also happened to me to take risks in the mountains because I had too much confidence in my own means. As long as all goes well, it serves as a warning and to gain experience. The photo perfectly renders the experience you have lived. Please my friend don't make me worry :-(
Saludos caros Zoseppe.
Bye gios ;-)

The sudden impetus of the waves

I know the strength of the Atlantic Ocean, in Cuba in 2017 during the passage of Hurricane Irma I had the opportunity to see what it can cause after the nine meters of waves that hit the coast, it is another situation I understand but to compare its force released, I took this wave again two days later and still the sea had an impressive power despite the fact that the weather had recovered.

A photo that documents your misadventure with light and dark sky, but we're here to tell you about it ;-)
Best regards, Loris

Hello Giuseppe, your story makes me think, I too found myself in this situation for one more photo in dangerous places in nature, and with a clear mind I thought that it was not worth it, because the most beautiful photos I took were taken in moments of serenity and common sense, never on impulse, and the love of loved ones is worth more than a photo.
Sorry if I told you about me it came instinctively, see you soon good evening

Nothing would happen to you, you would find a way to instantly sprout strong wings so as not to leave Eli alone!
Unwitting photographer! Or intrepid?!
Best regards!

Unconscious yes, but the photo is magnificent... ;-)
It expresses the power of the ocean with great effectiveness.

You got away with it, but in the end you took a wonderful photo. The force of nature, the impetus of the ocean, is detected; The composition that splits the frame in two is beautiful, with a leaden sky on one side and the pier assaulted by the waves. Bravo
Hi Stefano
