Subjects :The nature trail within the Chiarone Nature Reserve consists of a wooden walkway on stilts for a length of about 800 meters, and continues with a flat path inside a small strip of humid lowland forest. A pleasant and suggestive walk that immerses itself in a unique environment where you can observe the typical flora of the marshes, fish and other aquatic organisms and of course, with a little attention, the various species of birds that inhabit this environment. The route winds through the reeds and falascheto, where small passerines such as the River Nightingale and the Chestnut Forapaglie hide and where the Bittern nests, a small migratory heron symbol of the Reserve. Short branches lead to the four observatories, two of which overlook the lake, from which you can spot the birds that frequent the deep waters such as the Cormorant, the Tuffetto or even the great Osprey. The other two observatories overlook the "clear" inside the swamp, important artificial areas of shallow water where aquatic plants grow and where different birds such as waders and herons feed, and various species of fish.
