Pros: Weight. Ergonomics, though coming from the Nikon D7000 and D7100 it's feels natural. High ISO Noise control and the quaility of the pixels when there is noise, is easier to smooth out while still retaining more detail that my D7100. Very fast auto-focus and especially excellent low light auto focus. Color rendition. Sharpness/detail more than satifisfying enough when mounted with very good to excellent glass. 6.5 FPS is good enough for birds in flight especially when this camera can get so many in focus.

Cons: Would be nice to have had a dedicated AF-On button though I have assigned AF-L for this action as per my D7100. Only 1/4000th max shutter speed though when I look at the metadata for my images there are only a few birds in flight shot that have exceeded this on my camera bodies that have 1/8000th capability.

Opinion: The cons are only minor and very minor when you compare them to the quality/price ratio for this camera. I use this mainly for bird/wildife photography and am over the moon with it's overall performance. Even when having to commit to a larger crop for bird photo's in PP compared the the Nikon D7100 this still produces higher quaility images. Both my zoom lenses were just plug and play, no adjustments necessary that I have noticed. Is there another camera body out there that I would swap my D750 for? All things considered not one! Love this camera!

Pros: Versatility, reliability, robustness, price for a semi-pro (especially in retrospect, considering some prices in the ML market) longevity, good display, one of the first Nikon tilting display

Cons: On the video side, it is now outdated, although in fullHD it can still have its say well, lack of the touch display that would have made it current even after 10 years, slow scrolling speed in the gallery, some keys could have been better arranged (see ISO)

Opinion: One of Nikon's last DSLRs most used by professionals before switching to ML, in particular it is under the flagships D5-D6 (very specific) and the more resolute D810 - D850. Even after more than 10 years from its release, you can have excellent shots because of the fairly high resolution, but "centered" in an excellent sensor. Decent sealing at high iso, but like all cameras, once you know the limits you know how to overcome and how far to go and how to manage highlights, shadows and sharpness. Good focusing speed, but always in retrospect, in relation to ML with technologies released 10 years later (especially Sony or Canon) cannot hold a candle. For a "mature" and reasoned photograph, perhaps even from social media or print and not to be analyzed 100% on a monitor, it allows excellent photos.

Pros: Dynamic range and raw files, price, ergonomics

Cons: 1/4000 time, center focus points, video compartment

Opinion: Bought in July 2019 with nikon cashback after selling the dx kit. It was love at first sight. I was impressed by the dynamic range and the raw file, it was a big step up from the Nikon D7000 and the lenses I used it with. I only regretted buying it 3 months before Nikon announced the mirrorless. I would have gone straight to ML. In December 2019, to take photography a step further, I decided to buy z6 to speed up the composition by taking advantage of face/eye detection. I keep it as a second body and I feel really good. Sore points: the 1/4000 time for me is too little, the usual central focus points of nikon and the video sector not very good (even if for this last item the excuse is that it was produced in 2014). Despite this, I consider it extraordinary overall and I recommend it also given the price with which it was found new in the last period. Rated 8

Pros: Manoeuvrability, value for money, robustness

Cons: ISO tightness, sometimes iffy autofocus

Opinion: I have been using this camera for several years now, mainly for concert photography, theater photography and thunderstorm hunting. What can I say, I came from the D700 and switching to the 750 was a natural step, the difference is there and you can see it all, I can say that I am largely satisfied with the work it does... the flaws that I noticed are the autofocus that gets into difficulty in situations of non-optimal light and in live-view and as far as ISO is concerned it is acceptable up to 3200, beyond that the result in my opinion is not satisfactory. The life of the original battery is excellent, it withstands about 1000 shots and more and over the years the efficiency has not collapsed at all. Used in the most extreme conditions, from hunting thunderstorms to night photography in the mountains at low temperatures, it has always brought home the result. So I can say that I am largely satisfied. It is a camera body that easily has its own because even in 2024, with a not exaggerated budget, you can take home an excellent camera body, practically perfect for most uses.
